Application and introduction of PUR


Hot melt adhesive is the abbreviation of hot melt adhesive. It does not use any solvents during production and application, is non-toxic, odorless, and does not pollute the environment. It is known as "green adhesive" and is especially suitable for use on continuous production lines.


1. Hot melt adhesive for fabric

Mainly used in the production of clothing, shoes, hats, dustproof, moisture permeability, protection, and furniture. Garments using the glue not only have a crisp and plump appearance, but also have the characteristics of being naturally flat after washing and being worn without ironing. Shoes and caps using the glue are light, breathable, and have good shape retention. They are especially used in the shoe industry and have the advantages of comfortable wearing and reducing shoe odor. The technical indicators of the hot melt adhesive for this purpose are as follows:

Appearance: white or slightly yellow granular or powdery.

Melting point: 105-115°C; Melting index: 18-22G/10Min (160°C);

Bulk density: 0.48-0.52G/CM3; angle of repose: 30-35 degrees;

Bonding strength: ≥1.5-2.0KG/25MM; washing resistance: ≥5 times.

Such hot-melt adhesives can be divided into polyamide (PA), polyester (PES), polyethylene (LOPE and HDPE) and polyester amide (PEA), etc. This type of adhesive has passed the appraisal of five achievements and completed the national "Seventh The key projects in the Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan of Hebei Province won the National Invention Award, one scientific and technological achievement award of Tianjin and Hebei Province, and three national invention patents.


2. Hot-melt adhesives for packaging and book binding. At present, the packaging and sealing of food, beverages, instant noodles, cigarettes, beer, medicine, etc., are mostly completed with hot-melt adhesives through a box sealing machine. The bookbinding industry has now abolished the old thread and binding, and replaced it with hot-melt adhesive bonding technology, which not only improves the quality of binding, but more importantly, greatly accelerates the speed of binding. 4. Multi-purpose solvent-based hot melt adhesive

In the production of many products, such as: hot melt transfer, liquid crystal material sealing, wallpaper anti-counterfeiting, painting and calligraphy, computer printing, food production date typing, wire and cable coding, etc. Some granular or powder formulations do not need to be made into liquid form in the presence of a suitable solvent, and coated on a certain substrate to obtain a thin and uniform film before they can be used in the production of subsequent processes. Due to the different types of solutes (hot melt adhesives), solvent-based hot melt adhesives for various purposes can be prepared.


5. Hot melt adhesive for furniture edge banding

Precautions for the operation of PUR hot-melt laminating machine:


Operators can only operate this equipment after they are fully familiar with the machine's performance and working principles. This equipment must be operated by a dedicated person, and non-operating personnel cannot open or move randomly.


Before production, check whether electrical appliances such as cables, circuit breakers, contactors, and motors meet the requirements.


Before production, check whether the three-phase power supply is balanced, and it is strictly forbidden to start the equipment without phase.


During the production period, check whether each rotary joint is safe, whether the pipeline is unblocked, whether there is any damage or oil leakage, and remove it in time.


The hot oil machine must be turned on before production, and the production can only be carried out after the temperature rises to the temperature required by the process. Before production, check whether the pressure of each barometer is normal, whether there is any leakage in the gas path, and repair it in time


Before production, check the fastening of each connection to see if there is any looseness or falling off, and repair it in time.


Before mass production of the equipment, a small amount of test should be done first, and mass production can only be carried out after success.


Before production, check the lubrication conditions of various hydraulic stations, reducers, bearing bushes, lead screws, etc., and fill in hydraulic oil and lubricating oil in a correct and timely manner.


After the machine is stopped, the glue tank, glue squeegee accessories, and anilox roller must be cleaned in time to remove residual glue and dirt from all parts of the machine for next use.


It is strictly forbidden to contact corrosive liquids with the rubber rollers, and always ensure that the surface of each drive roller is clean and free of foreign matter.


It is strictly forbidden to pile up debris around the hot oil machine, and keep the hot oil machine and its surroundings clean and free of foreign objects at all times. When the hot oil machine is working, it is strictly forbidden to touch the delivery oil pipe by hand.


Maintenance and maintenance of PUR hot-melt laminating machine:


The lubricating oil of the reducer should be changed every six months. ·


The 350# heat transfer oil should be replaced every six months when the hot oil machine is used.


The hydraulic oil tank should be replaced with N46 or N32 anti-wear hydraulic oil every six months.


Check the hydraulic oil tank, the oil tank of the hot oil machine once a month, remove the grease, remove the impurities, and add enough lubricating oil and heat transfer oil


Lubricating oil should be added to bearings and screws every shift.


After each shutdown, the glue tank, glue squeegee accessories, and anilox roller must be cleaned in time to remove residual glue and dirt from all parts of the machine.


The chain should be checked every shift to ensure normal lubrication and timely tensioning.


Check the connecting parts every shift, and whether the fasteners are loose or missing, and fasten them in time.


Check the oil pumps, cylinders, solenoid valves, distribution valves, oil pipes and other connections for oil leakage every shift.
